Bellagio Fountain Show

Shot this video while in Vegas on October 26th. The Bellagio Hotel does a little fountain show every 15 minutes. It is quite relaxing to watch. About the only relaxing thing in Vegas.

Bionic Idiot

Well I watched an episode of the bionic woman tonight. It is very poorly written and I don't foresee it lasting a full season. The best line of the show is when the supposedly bionic woman asks if Canada "even has a army" in stereotypical American ignorance of Canada (we have been a major presence in Afghanistan since 9/11 and have also lost many soldiers). She's the friggin robot so shouldn't she be able to google that shit in her brain. Best of all like every other crappy TV show, it is filmed in Vancouver (which is one reason I would watch it, to get glimpse here and there of Stanley Park and miss Vancouver)

I don't see a future for character with the powers of a robot but the worst of an American public school education. She should be smart too. Oh well, change the channel. Ah like I was a bartender, I got in a car accident, and now I'm bionic or something.

USD Sucks right now!

So I am paying off my car loan in Canada today (well I am sending the check anyway) The exchange rate sucks right now. $10000 US only gets you about $9650 CAD. I remember when it used to get you about $14000 CAD

Three Jackasses at large

Three shootings on Highway 101 in a little more than 48 hours, including one in San Jose that wounded a man Wednesday, are unrelated, the California Highway Patrol said. The string of shootings, in which one man was killed and two wounded, is "quite unusual," CHP Sgt. Les Bishop said.... The CHP came to that conclusion after reviewing information from the shootings late Sunday in Burlingame, Monday in San Francisco and early Wednesday in San Jose. Bishop did not explain how the CHP had reached that determination, saying he did not want to reveal details while police in Burlingame and San Jose are still investigating the shootings in those cities.... The victim, a 20-year-old man, had just gotten off work in Sunnyvale and was driving south when an older model, silver luxury sedan with custom rims pulled alongside him, police said.... An altercation between the two drivers preceded the shooting, San Jose police Sgt. Nick Muyo said, but he declined to give details. The first freeway shooting happened late Sunday, when 25-year-old Londell Wilson of San Mateo was killed while driving north on Highway 101 in Burlingame.... Those cars were a dark turquoise station wagon, a white four-door sedan and a red or burgundy four-door sedan similar to a late 1960s Chevrolet Chevelle or Nova, Burlingame police Sgt. Jim Ford said.... The other shooting happened about 10:30 a.m. Monday, when the driver of a BMW heading south near the Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp in San Francisco was shot in the hip by the driver of a green Dodge Caravan, CHP spokesman Shawn Chase said.
