Logic Puzzle - man in the elevator

A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator - or if it was raining that day - he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the seventh floor and walks up three flights of stairs to his apartment. Can you explain why?(This is probably the best known and most celebrated of all lateral thinking logic puzzles. It is a true classic. Although there are many possible solutions which fit the initial conditions, only the canonical answer is truly satisfying.)

Pearl Jam Censored by AT&T

Not for swearing mind you but over a difference of opinion. Someone at AT&T did not like what the band sang about George Bush so they were censored. It is good to see that freedom of speech is alive and well or are people really just free to do and think what we are told? Umm. AT&T is trying to make amends and fix the "mistake".

Aunt Ernestine

This is a video I found on my hard drive of my Aunt that passed away today. This is probably the only video I have of her as she usually would not let you take photos of her especially not video. Goodbye "teen".

Canadians growing a little greener, StatsCan survey suggests

Canadians have gotten a little bit greener over the past 12 years, especially where governments passed laws to force behaviour changes, a newly released survey suggests.

But in other areas, consumers are acting just as they did in 1994, says a Statistics Canada report released Wednesday. (click title to read further)
